What ShowPull collects
If you submit a first-night discussion request, we store your city, artist shortlist, optional venue information and reply email in a private ShowPull operator queue. We use these details to review and discuss your request, not to create an account or grant event access. We store a keyed hash of the request connection’s IP address to limit abuse; the original IP address is not stored with the request.
When you create an account we store your email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and name with us; we do not receive your Google password.
When you use ShowPull we store what you choose to tell artists: the city you would see them in, how far you would travel, which Shows you are interested in, how likely you are to come and how many people you would bring. Optional profile details (display name, username, photo, bio, social links) are stored only if you add them.
If you reserve tickets conditionally, payment details go to Stripe, our payment processor. ShowPull never sees or stores your card number.
If you turn on text alerts, we store your mobile number, when you agreed and the wording you agreed to. We text only what that wording covers: about Shows you joined (crowd milestones, ticket holds, confirmed dates) and, if you agreed after 6 October 2026, when artists you follow go live, at most four a month, through our messaging provider Twilio. Reply STOP to any text to stop them, or remove your number in Settings. Your number is never shown to artists or other fans, and never sold or shared for marketing.
How it is used
Artists you have shown interest in see aggregate counts by city and, for Shows you joined, your display identity as you have set it. Your email, home city and travel range are never shown publicly. Public fan profiles and the fan directory are off unless you turn them on.
We use anonymous page-view analytics to understand how fans arrive. We do not sell personal data and do not send marketing on behalf of third parties.
We also use a random first-party identifier in your browser tab to measure the artist-request journey. It links steps for up to one hour without attaching your name, email or account ID. We record the arrival source, observed steps and an explicit test-traffic label. Journey records become eligible for deletion after 30 days and are removed in bounded daily batches. This measurement does not follow you across devices or identify a new signup.
A separate random browser-tab identifier measures the guest artist-follow journey for up to one hour. It records the artist, arrival-source label, first follow action, selected public Show or destination city, first submitted sign-in method, observed steps and test-traffic label—not your email, account ID or authentication URLs. It does not connect activity across devices. These records also become eligible for deletion after 30 days and are removed in bounded daily batches. The browser identifier expires for measurement after one hour and is replaced on a later guest artist visit; browser storage may retain the expired value until then or until the tab is closed.
A separate random browser-tab identifier links ticket-options views, consent submissions, checkout creation, saved-hold observations, explicit interest-only skips, completion and optional support/share clicks for up to one hour. It records the public Show, source and test label, not your email, account ID or card details. When you return, we check your signed-in hold status without storing your identity in this measurement. Records become eligible for deletion after 30 days in bounded daily batches; expired browser storage remains until replaced or the tab closes. Missing return visits or blocked storage can leave gaps.
Your choices
Allow ShowPull to connect this browser’s promotion visits with saved city interest, Show joins and card saves for seven days? Artists see totals, not tracking identifiers. You can join or hold tickets either way.
Privacy details · Your choice is remembered for six months. You can change it here anytime.
Only if you allow optional promotion tracking, a random first-party cookie connects promotion opens in that browser for up to seven days after the most recent open. City campaigns attribute verified interest saved for that artist and city, once per fan while records are retained; this is not a measure of net audience growth. For each artist-city destination or Show, the most recent eligible promotion receives credit when you join or start a ticket checkout. We privately link those outcomes to your account and the exact reservation attempt to prevent duplicate credit and confirm card saves. Artists receive aggregate counts, not these identifiers. We do not store card details or connect this measurement across devices. Opens can include repeated visits and automated link previews. Marked tests are separated. Detailed visits and linked outcomes become eligible for deletion after 30 days and are removed in bounded daily batches. Clearing ShowPull cookies removes this browser identifier. Declining stops new promotion measurement and prevents later card-save updates to this browser’s existing measurement records. Already-recorded totals remain until retention cleanup. A separate preference cookie remembers your choice for 180 days. This setting applies to the named-promotion measurement described here, not the separate existing analytics described above.
Instagram replies
Artists can connect their Instagram professional account so that a fan who comments a city under their post, or sends it by message, gets that city's ShowPull link by direct message. ShowPull reads the comment or message only to find a city and answer it; we do not store its text, your Instagram username or your Instagram ID. We store a keyed one-way code of that ID (so we never message you twice for the same city), when we answered, whether you opened the link, and, if you then join with your email, that you joined. Until then it is only “Instagram interest” and is not counted as a fan. If you open the link, a first-party cookie remembers it for two days so the join can be credited. The artist's Instagram access token is stored encrypted and is deleted when they disconnect. See Delete your data.
